AECOM is seeking a Junior Level Chemist to be based in the Austin, Texas Office.
This position is expected to begin in May/June 2023.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Sample control: receiving, storing, and disposing of samples;
Preparing reagents and samples;
Analyzing samples;
Conducting experiments with supervision;
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or another related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Must have a valid Driver’s license
Industrial or academic laboratory experience is preferred. Examples: having worked for at least 160 hours in an industrial laboratory or having completed at least two semesters of extra-curricular, academic laboratory research
Familiarity with Microsoft Office software applications such as Word and Excel
Knowledge in safety measures and PPE
Detail-oriented and observant
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
