Associate Chemist

To be successful in this role, you will have a working knowledge in a wet chemistry laboratory and have an inclination towards new product development, strong communication skills, and a desire to learn.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Conducting scientific experiments supporting ongoing research and development projects of current ink products and/or new product development
- Actively taking part in research, formulation development, designing and executing experiments and propose possible solutions for projects
- Characterize inks by following SOPs to measure ink properties such as viscosity, TGA, solid content, and conductivity
- Ability to use technology to gather, maintain, organize and summarize data, maintain inventory, tracking of ink shipments, manufacturing raw materials
- Preparing and presenting results of experiments effectively, able to accept suggestion and corrections from various groups/teams and executing them
- Able to work with milestone setting and provide conclusive results with little guidance
- Follow all laboratory safety protocols, clean and maintain work areas working in fume hood and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s and Master’s in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in wet chemical laboratory or chemical manufacturing environment is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication with organizational and planning skills.
- Self-motivation, desire to learn new things while working in a team as well as independently.
- Experience in material isolation and characterization methods such as inert gas operation, chromatographic analysis, NMR are a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and PowerPoint
