Position Summary & Responsibilities:

Position Summary:

The Office of Minority and Women-Owned Business Development is seeking an intern to review/organize electronic files, maintain and update the computer database utilizing Salesforce. This position will also assist in processing documents during the Annual Update and Triennial Review period as well as processing paper applications and updating the Excel tracking log.

Position Responsibilities:

Reviews electronic file folders to ensure that the files are organized in the manner needed for program efficiency. Organizes the electronic file folders. Maintains and updates the Minority and Women Business computer database utilizing Salesforce to track, record and retrieve information regarding certified minority, women and disadvantaged businesses. Assists in processing documents during the Annual Update and Triennial Review period. Scans paper applications to create electronic file folders in the Minority and Women Business filing folder.

Intern Minimum Qualifications:

Work in an office environment. Knowledge of computer software programs

Intern Preferred Qualifications:

College courses or demonstrated work experience in marketing, journalism or business management.
