DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Social Worker 1, you will function as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team and be involved in providing group treatment programs to the patients, as both a primary therapist and backup. Social work responsibilities include the completion of Initial and Annual Assessments, the development of a Treatment Plan with a multidisciplinary team, and the provision of appropriate clinical services. You will serve as a liaison, therapist, and resource for families and community agencies to enable and facilitate patients‘ psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Travel and overtime: as needed.
  • FREE PARKING
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • A bachelor‘s or master‘s degree in social work or social welfare.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

  • You must pass a background investigation.
  • A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and a drug screening.
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
    1. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
