job description

Design and deploy functional networks (LAN WLAN VPN SDWAN / WAN / MAN / SDN) Configure and install (physical and VM based) software servers routers firewalls and other network devices

Monitor network performance and integrity

Tier 3 Support Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure

Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness

Professional certifications are preferred (e.g. CCNP CCDP CCIE etc.)

Solid background in network administration and architecture in a wired and wireless enterprise infrastructure leveraging MPLS VLAN VRFs and VxLAN

Indepth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP OSPF)

Familiarity with access control models and network security

Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g Python Perl)

Experience with network diagnostic monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds Splunk etc)

Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS Cisco IOS)

Sharp troubleshooting skills; Ability to work independently or within a group.


Skills Required

Cisco family of routers and switches (ASR Nexus Catalyst)

Juniper family of router switches firewwalls and Mist.

PaloAlto family of security products.

F5 Viprion suite of products (Loadbalancing and DNS).

VM NSXT and AVI Loadbalancer.

InfoBlox IPAM DNS and DHCP.

Solarwinds NPM.
