About the Role

KDA Consulting Inc is a leading provider of IT solutions to the National Defense and Intelligence sectors. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Network Engineer with expertise in designing and implementing complex network architectures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in TCP/IP transport network design, network routing protocols, and advanced virtual networking technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement network architectures for large-scale systems
  • Develop and maintain network security protocols and procedures
  • Perform upgrades and routine network operations and maintenance (O&M)
  • Identify and implement INFOSEC and COMSEC security requirements for the network
  • Manage network systems and infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot network problems for LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, and VoIP
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and trends
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 6-10 years of relevant professional work experience
  • Active TS/SCI + Full Scope Poly U.S. Government Security clearance
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and architectures
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VDI & VMWare)
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Experience with security best practices and implementing firewalls and perimeter security measures
  • Experience with Agile Development methodologies
