We are seeking a self-starter, experienced, innovative, and strategic thinker to spearhead our global Search Engine Optimization (SEO) initiatives. As the Sr. Manager of Global SEO Strategy, you'll be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies across multiple global markets, building and leading a team of SEO specialists, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive organic traffic, and achieve business goals. This position requires the candidate to be very hands on to drive SEO success in the business. Strong ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment. This position is also responsible for helping drive new brand awareness and revenue via SEO channels.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Development: Craft and implement a cohesive global SEO strategy (on-off page, technical, content) aligned with business objectives, considering regional nuances, market trends, and search engine algorithm changes. Responsible for driving revenue and brand awareness generating SEO strategies.
  • Hands on: Must be willing to do the work as needed to drive KPIs – strategic thinker and doer.
  • US and International SEO: Create and deploy a comprehensive international SEO audit and strategy to drive search traffic
  • Technical SEO: Audit, diagnose, and resolve issues affecting SEO performance. Familiar with mobile issues including CWV.
  • Content marketing: review, ability to write, and provide recommendations to enhance on-page content SEO.
  • Team Leadership and Team Oriented: Lead and mentor a team guiding their efforts in keyword research, technical optimization, content strategies, and link-building activities across various markets.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams such as content creators, developers, designers, and marketing managers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all aspects of the business.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Establish and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly evaluate the performance of SEO campaigns, providing insightful reports to the executive team.
  • Reputation management: Audit channels to determine areas of opportunity to improve our search reputation results.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay updated with search engine algorithms and industry trends, ensuring the implementation of technical SEO best practices and the adoption of new technologies to enhance organic search performance. You’ve worked in complex SEO environments in the past and was able to resolve a variety of technical issues. You’re a SEO technical whiz
  • Global Market Insights: Analyze and adapt SEO strategies based on cultural, linguistic, and regional differences to maximize visibility and performance across diverse markets.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate SEO strategies, objectives, and results to stakeholders, fostering a shared understanding of the importance of SEO in the overall business strategy.
  • AI Integration: Ability to use AI to augment projects where it makes sense.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Willing to roll up your sleeves and do hands on SEO work as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Certifications in the related field a plus.
  • 5+ years of successfully leading and implementing international SEO strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO tools and software such as SEMrush, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and Moz Pro.
  • Highly technical – ability to audit, recommend, and help implement optimizations.
  • Strong analytical skills (GA) with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights to improve SEO performance.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve outstanding results.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Self-driven – a must personal skill to identify and execute on a number of programs to drive success.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex SEO concepts to clients and team members. Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
  • A passion for staying updated with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work "off hours" at times to communicate with global markets.
  • Direct selling/MLM/Network marketing experience a plus.
