The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric care and will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health services to patients in the Brockton MA area. This is a fulltime permanent position with competitive salary and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients

Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with mental health disorders

Prescribe and monitor medications for patients

Provide therapy and counseling to patients

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to patients

Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders and treatment options

Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records

Stay current with advancements in psychiatric care and treatment methods

Qualifications:

Masters degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health

Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Massachusetts

Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric care

Current valid DEA certificate and MA Controlled Substances certificate or eligibility

Buprenorphine waiver required or willingness to acquire waiver

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong organizational and timemanagement skills

Compassionate and patientfocused approach to care
