About the Role:
As a Trainee Dental Nurse you will work closely with the Dentist assisting in a variety of NHS and Private dental procedures to ensure patients receive exceptional care. You will thrive in a collaborative and professional setting where teamwork and accountability are fundamental to the practices success.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing chair side assistance to the Dentist ensuring the necessary equipment and materials are readily available
- Offering compassionate care and support to a wide range of patients
- Following health and safety guidelines and infection control protocols
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in clinical areas as well as disinfecting equipment and instruments
- Accurately recording patient clinical data
- Completing daily weekly and monthly clinical logs and checks
Training and Development:
We support Trainee Nurses who are enrolled in or working towards a Dental Nursing Qualification. For those who havent started their course yet we can assist in finding the right course provider.
The National Diploma in Dental Nursing (Level 3) includes:
- Onthejob training
- Online learning modules
- Facetoface training sessions
- Completion of a Record of Experience
- Written and practical examinations
