Job Location: Grand Rapids Michigan 49501 (Hybrid) Note: US Citizenship or Permanent Resident is required. Job Description: Development and implementation of the IT vision strategy and roadmap for both CAS and the Avionics division aligned to business goals and objectives. Manage the Avionics IT portfolio of projects applications systems and infrastructure ensuring the delivery of highquality costeffective and timely solutions. Establish and maintain strong relationships with the internal and external stakeholders including business leaders customers suppliers and regulators identifying and building highly engaged and inspired integrated IT resources to deliver on identified objectives leveraging offshore 3rd party resources where appropriate also. Ensure IT compliance with relevant standards policies and regulations such as ISO20000 ISO27001 ITIL and CMMC v2. Innovatively and systematically build a problemsolving environment by demonstrating and modeling thought leadership influence communication negotiation and conflict resolution. Develop skills and abilities of assigned IT team members through mentoring coaching and continuous improvement. Support a service improvement culture within the global IT team. Partnering with business unit Program Management Offices (PMO) on implementation updates and best practice sharing on processes tools training and lessons learned to continuously improve and grow the capability of the global IT team. Support efforts to reduce the global application footprint and focus on standardization of apps across all locations wherever possible. Monitor and evaluate the IT risks issues and opportunities within the Avionics division and implement appropriate mitigation and contingency plans as needed. Qualifications: BSC/ BA level degree in Information Technology or complimentary equivalent. 10 years in IT leadership roles preferably in the aerospace industry or alternative high tech manufacturing business with global presence. A demonstrated depth and breadth in business acumen across the major functional disciplines (Finance Supply Chain Manufacturing). Demonstrated leadership capability and the ability to affect organizational change in challenging environments. Must be adept at achieving results through multiple organizations and functions sometimes with competing priorities. Skilled in interpersonal influence persuasion and negotiation. Demonstrated communication skills both written and verbal at all levels of the organization. Skilled in building customer and subcontractor relationships while balancing strategic objectives. Adept listener and public speaker. Experience in managing environments utilizing Microsoft 365 Microsoft Azure SAP or ServiceNow preferred. Experience in managing 3rd party Managed Service Provider and / or Managed Security Service Provider. Highly motivated adaptable and resilient with a passion for innovation and service excellence. Ability to travel (domestic or international) up to 25%.
