The position is in-person, but clients can receive services in-person or via telehealth. Therapists work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and their clients may also access skills training, case management, SUD treatment services, and medication management. The therapist's caseload size is 7-10 clients and dependent on each of their clients' level of need (level of care) and engagement. The community-based position provides short-term (typically 6-8 months) intensive mental health services for youth and families experiencing acute behavioral health and crisis support needs. This position includes an on-call crisis line rotation, and therapists receive a stipend for each week they are on-call.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvides mental health services for youth, ages 2-18, and their families: assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, individual, and family therapy.Provides case management, crisis support, safety planning, coordination of care, referrals to ancillary and/or specialty services, and group therapy, as needed.Completes all clinical documentation in accordance with state, federal and organizational requirements, emphasizing collaborative documentation.Abides by the appropriate code of ethics and follows all of Morrison's policies and procedures.Is present and punctual for work, supervision and/or meetings. Works well within a team environment, sharing workload, credit, and opportunities.Completes other duties as assigned to ensure successful operation of program or department.Experience/Education Requirements:Master's level degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.Experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health, social services, educational, or other related setting.Other Requirements: Pass a DHS (Department of Human Services) criminal history backgroundIf driving for position, must meet agency driving requirementIf bilingual, must pass language proficiency testingPhysical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50-75% of the time.
