Job Title: Outpatient Mental Health Therapist

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our mental health services, you will provide psychotherapy to patients and develop ongoing treatment plans to support their mental health and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions to patients with various mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • One year of experience in the treatment of psychiatric patients.
  • Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Act 31 training completion within 45 days of hire.
