Job Description:
Responsibilities
* Support the onboarding and validation of synthetic and biological controls into Corteva's global production genotyping platforms, including genotyping by assays and genotyping by sequencing
* Strong driver to help develop novel approaches to assess and predict control performance
* Support projects to evaluate, implement, and deploy new PCR control strategies across Global Genotyping platforms.
* Shows a strong propensity for record keeping with the ability to communicate complex technical information to managers
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating a willingness to help others
Job Qualification
Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelors in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics or related field
Competencies and Qualifications:
* Understanding of genetics and molecular biology
* Understanding of genotyping platforms, including genotyping by assays and genotyping by sequencing
* Demonstration of solving complex problems requiring deductive reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving
* Strong people and project leadership skills with the ability to lead and drive change and improvements through teams across the organization
* Capable of working independently and collaboratively while applying good time management skills
* Strong interpersonal communication skills
* A desire to excel
