Job Overview

We are looking for a Research Laboratory Technician to contribute to our innovative projects at Acro Service Corporation. This role involves working in a well-maintained and controlled laboratory environment, where you will play a vital part in advancing our research initiatives.

As a valued member of our team, you will engage in various tasks that support the research objectives, including:

  • Conducting sampling and data collection in regulated environments.
  • Processing samples while adhering to sterile laboratory protocols.
  • Measuring, imaging, and analyzing experimental data.
  • Coordinating the preparation and sampling of materials as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform plant tissue culture operations, including plant transformation and propagation, along with conducting analytical assays on plant tissue samples.
  • Assist with molecular biology tasks as necessary.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, utilizing aseptic techniques.
  • Document experimental procedures accurately and analyze data to interpret results.
  • Record relevant information using proprietary and standard software applications.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will possess an Associate or Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, with relevant industry experience or equivalent education.
  • Experience in molecular biology techniques, such as nucleic acid isolation, PCR, DNA vector construction, and gel electrophoresis, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with plant transformation in academic or industry settings is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are essential.
  • Capability to work effectively in teams and independently is required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary.
  • A self-motivated individual with strong work ethics and time management skills is sought.
