Duties
The selectee will serve as a Human Resources Specialist (Benefits) in the Benefits and Payroll Division. Typical work assignments include: Making recommendations to employees (including annuitants) regarding retirement issues under Federal systems; Oversee the benefits decisions of employees; Present and explain benefit information to employees, former employees, spouses, former spouses, survivor annuitants and eligible family members; Interpret policies and procedures for management, supervisors, and staff members related to different types of retirement and benefits; Utilize various automated HR systems to ensure effective processing and operational functions.-
