Invited Concierge at the Alexandria at Torrey Pines

The Invited Concierge will play an integral part on the Alexandria at Torrey Pines Member Experience Team. Creating remarkable experiences for our tenants and guests before, during, and after every visit. What we prioritize as Warm Welcome, Magic Moments, and Fond Farewells.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Welcome and greet tenants, guests, event hosts, visitors, and owners to the building. Offer clear instructions for entry; ensure those instructions have been understood. • Key focus on name recognition and connection with Warm Welcomes and Fond Farewells
  • Focused on relationship and rapport building with tenants and guests.
  • Assist the Member Experience department with tenant initiatives such as, but not limited to, New Tenant Orientation presentations and various other projects including event announcements and outbound calls to confirm appointment confirmations.
  • Check ARE mailboxes daily, sort and deliver mail to the appropriate recipients
  • Receive and redirect deliveries to loading dock or messenger center.
  • Stock F&B and meeting room inventory in ARE private meeting rooms
  • Communicate with tenants to assist with visitor access.
  • Offer clear instructions for entry; ensure those instructions have been understood.
  • Answer questions regarding the building, neighborhood or campus amenities.
  • Collaborate with culinary operators, Alexandria and Invited teams, members of event functions and partners (e. g. stewards, engineers, security) to assist a visitor, tenant, or employee with any request.
  • Stock and organize Invited marketing collateral displays and event signage throughout the property.
  • Post event signage in marquee sands for large group events
  • Monitor Alexandria Events social media accounts (Instagram/LinkedIn) for any direct message inquiries and coordinate with the Sales Team to follow up.
  • Audit Alexandria Events online social media presence for inconsistencies, identify updates needed on the website or other social partner (PartySlate, The Knot, Wedding Wire, Zola, etc..) and report that information to the Marketing & Sales Team

  • Notify Director of Sales & Events / Director of Event Operations and/or department head(s) of Tenant/Guest complaints. Rectify by using service recovery procedures as soon as possible
  • We are ready to assume different responsibilities as needed and requested as an essential part of our jobs

Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum of one-year experience in hospitality business or a similar role
  • Service oriented mindset and be capable of making every guest feel valued
  • A person with a can-do attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to deliver an exceptional Member experience
  • Strong communication skills verbal, written, phone, text, and social media communications
  • Work well under pressure, coordinating multiple tasks at any given time
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Competent working with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) a must
