Compensation:
Annual salary ranges from $325,000 to $365,000.
About the Role:
As a Concierge Physician, you will deliver highly tailored medical care to patients aged 10 and older. This unique practice offers:
- A manageable patient panel of 300, with opportunities for additional incentives.
- Extended, thoughtful office visits, averaging 5-8 consultations per day.
- Dedicated support from Advanced Practice Providers and both administrative and clinical staff.
- An outpatient-focused environment, including one administrative day weekly and no hospital responsibilities.
- Collaborative Concierge Medicine colleagues available for vacation and continuing medical education coverage.
- Access to in-office lifestyle services such as nutrition counseling, physical therapy, and wellness psychiatry.
- Streamlined access to top-tier specialists at UC San Diego Health.
- A competitive compensation package, including CME funds, incentive plans, and comprehensive benefits.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine and possess a minimum of seven years of clinical experience. Candidates should demonstrate a compassionate demeanor, a personable approach, and a proven track record of high patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Physicians are expected to:
- Provide at least 32 hours of direct, in-office patient care weekly.
- Manage own weeknight calls from Monday to Thursday.
- Participate in weekend call rotations approximately every five weekends.
Our Concierge Medicine program is dedicated to fostering a balanced work-life environment while exceeding the expectations of both patients and physicians.
Special Conditions:
Successful candidates must pass a background check, pre-employment physical, drug screening, and immunization assessments. Compliance with vaccination policies is mandatory, and additional public health directives may apply.
Certifications:
Life-support certifications must include hands-on practice and in-person skills assessment; online-only certifications are not acceptable.
