Position Overview:
UC San Diego Health is in search of a distinguished Internal or Family Medicine Physician to enhance our esteemed Concierge Medicine program.
Compensation:
Annual salary ranges from $325,000 to $365,000.
Role Highlights:
As a member of our Concierge Medicine team, you will provide tailored medical care to patients aged 10 and above. Key features of this role include:
- A manageable patient panel of 300, with opportunities for additional incentives.
- Extended, unhurried consultations, averaging 5-8 visits per day.
- Dedicated support from Advanced Practice Providers and administrative staff.
- An outpatient-focused practice with one administrative day per week and no hospital responsibilities.
- Access to in-office lifestyle services, including nutrition and wellness support.
- Expedited referrals to leading specialists within UC San Diego Health.
- Attractive compensation package, including CME funds and benefits.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine and possess a minimum of seven years of clinical experience. We seek individuals who are compassionate, personable, and have a proven track record of high patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Concierge Physicians are expected to:
- Provide at least 32 hours of direct patient care weekly.
- Manage weeknight calls and participate in weekend call rotations.
Our Concierge Medicine program is dedicated to fostering a balanced work-life environment while exceeding patient and physician expectations.
Special Conditions:
Successful candidates must pass a background check, pre-employment physical, drug screening, and immunization screening. Compliance with vaccination policies is required for employment.
