Job Summary

Access Services Supervisor provides circulation services to users and supervises staff and student assistants during regularly scheduled shifts. Work schedule based on the needs of the department.

Responsibilities
Hire, train and supervise three or more full-time Access Services employees and multiple Student Assistants
Maintain security of the Henderson Library including opening and closing and following all emergency procedures
Provide administrative assistance to visitors by maintaining the Checkout Desk
Provide administrative assistance to the Department Head by creating a weekly checkout desk schedule and assisting in all departmental projects
Provide administrative assistance by maintaining library records including working with Alma and Banner.
Assist library users with computer equipment, photocopiers, audiovisuals, and other library equipment.
Load and unload material in ARC and audits ARC bins and maintains inventory for library collection

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Required Experience

Three or more years of related work experience

Experience working in a library
Proposed Salary
$14.86 – $18.17 per hour

This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
