We're seeking an Air Quality Engineer II to work with a major Oil and Gas company located in Midland, TX on a contract position to support the West Texas Operations within the Permian Basin.

  • Support Air Compliance Programs for production, compression, and midstream surface facilities.\r
  • Develop and apply understanding of Federal, State and Site-Specific rules/limits to enhance Air Compliance Programs\r
  • Develop informal and formal Operations Training Material\r
  • Respond to issues requiring accurate and timely reporting to State Agencies\r
  • Support Title V reporting workflows\r
  • Construct regulatory applicability determinations and upkeep\r
  • Support LDAR Programs and enhancements\r
  • Implement new rules and regulations\r
  • Identify facilities for air permit upgrades\r
  • Interface with GHG Reduction Team, Operations and Facilities Engineering to develop and enhance workflows regarding response of methane/emission detection initiatives including ground-based sensors, cameras, and aerial technologies\r
  • Support advocacy efforts for rulemaking\r
  • Support response to EPA, TCEQ and RRC regarding air compliance inquiries\r
  • Identify and support air compliance improvement initiatives\r
  • Support internal reviews including OIMS and Regulatory Compliance Assessments\r
  • Provide input to the annual Environmental Business Plan\r
  • Provide Operations and Management Line-of-Site to overall air compliance health\r

  • Knowledge in Air Compliance Programs\r
  • Bachelors Degree in equivalent area\r
  • Experience in EPA, TCEQ and RRC regulations\r
