ABOUT THE ROLE:

You will join a friendly and supportive team with Mercy Place Templestowe. Opportunities exist for you to undertake further Education and Training in these areas to enhance your skills development.

Casual/Part time positions available Located at Mercy Place Templestowe Reporting to the Catering and Housekeeping Manager you will provideassistance with delivery, preparation and heating of meals according to individual residents' dietary requirements Ensure dining areas and kitchen are kept tidy and in a safe state at all times

ABOUT YOU:

Food Safety Handler certificate – Level 1 Experience in catering and housekeeping in Aged Care is highly desirable Ability to operate in a team environment and prioritise during peak periods A passion for great food service whilst being customer and safety focused An understanding that producing nutritious meals is an important part of home life for residents (and their families)

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Candidates are required to meet the position and qualification requirements. Provide a current Police Record Check, NDIS Worker Screen Check and Working with Children Check (Mercy Health may conduct additional background checks subject to current legislation). Proof of vaccination status consistent with public health orders and with Mercy Health’s policy (includes but is not limited to COVID-19 and seasonal influenza vaccination compliance requirement).
