Technical Sales Manager


Our client is revolutionizing the maritime industry with their cuttingedge electrification solutions. These solutions designed to meet the highest quality safety and lifetime requirements are capable of withstanding the most challenging demands and operational profiles setting us apart in the market.


We are now searching for a driven Technical Sales Manager a key player in our mission to become the leading supplier of maritime battery solutions. Your role is crucial in this journey.

Their customers are shipyards shipowners naval architects and system integrators all of whom are active globally. We must create close and fruitful relationships with these companies to secure and solidify our position as a preferred partner to these customers.

Our goal is to be a trusted customer partner throughout the entire sales process ensuring excellent followup even after the sale is complete. Typically a sales cycle spans three to nine months and our aim is to be considered and specified as early as possible.

The Technical Sales Manager will be based at our office in Marysville Washington.

  • Review and analyze technical specifications.
  • Prepare bids and proposals.
  • Compile and prepare supporting documentation.
  • You are reaching and surpassing annual sales targets within designated customer accounts.
  • We are deeply committed to cultivating and nurturing customer relationships. As our Technical Sales Manager you will play a significant role in this commitment.We generate and assess new leads employing various strategies to enter potential accounts.
  • Ensuring a robust postsales process to maintain strong customer engagement.
  • We are developing close and cooperative relationships with other internal stakeholders.

We are dedicated to staying ahead of market trends and regularly providing competitor analysis and feedback to the Research and Development team. Your insights as our Technical Sales Manager will be invaluable in this process.


Qualifications
  • Degree in engineering
  • Strong technical background with a focus on detailed specification analysis.
  • Experience in preparing bids and proposals.
  • Ability to identify and pursue new opportunities.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • At least two years of electrification or industrial experience or equivalent is preferable.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to understand and convey complex technical solutions.
  • Persistent and persuasive mindset to own and drive initiatives.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
