Role

In consultation with the relevant Assistant Principal lead the strategic direction and program

¿ Leadership of AIP, SSP and Regional initiatives - goals, targets and actions

¿ Drive whole school support for students receiving Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions

¿ Oversee the implementation of the Personal and Social capabilities curriculum

¿ Lead the collection, analysis and application of wellbeing data

¿ Lead transition programs K-P and 6-7

¿ Provide leadership and support for complex student and family matters

¿ Lead attendance processes and procedures

¿ Ensures relevant community links are made with external services

¿ Promote a culture of child safety at our school

¿ Leading the collection of student information in preparation for Case Management

¿ Provide mentoring support and guidance to staff in relation to student wellbeing and engagement concerns

¿ Check in on high needs students when there are changes to daily routines

¿ Responsible for the induction of new teaching staff and mentoring of graduate teachers.

¿ Support graduate teachers with VIT process

¿ Ensure SWPBS framework is promoted schoolwide for all students, promoting culture of inclusion

¿ Oversee and support ES in their area and ensure they are allocated to address specific student needs

Staff Development

¿ Lead and provide whole school professional learning to teaching and education support staff

¿ Support PLC Learning Specialists with Personal and Social Capabilities planning and implementation
