$2,000 Signing Bonus for new hires

A DAY IN THE LIFE of a Life Insurance Specialist

The Auto Club Group is seeking Life Insurance Specialists who can generate new sales, retain existing members and grow ACG‘s overall book of business through our multiple product offerings. You will be challenged to drive new business with competitive products and help retain The Auto Club Groups 14+ million members.

  • Develop leads and prospects for the purpose of conducting fact finding interviews to determine needs for coverage

  • Prepare proposals, and conduct closing interviews for Life and Health Insurance sales

  • Complete appropriate applications and forms and follows internal processing procedures to ensure transactions are handled in accordance with company policies and practices

  • Work collaboratively with others in the Branch to reach business goals, maximize leads, sales opportunities and take advantage of cross-sell opportunities

  • Assist Underwriting and Brokerage Departments in satisfying requirements

  • Respond to customer inquiries and problems and ensure sound-sales practices are used

  • Prepare reports documenting prospecting and sales activities and maintains specified production standards and persistency levels for Life and Health insurance

Average 1st year earnings $50,000+Average 2nd year+ earnings $70,000+A guaranteed base salary of $25,000 plus uncapped commissions

WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHO

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Life license

  • Valid driver‘s license

  • Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Work experience

  • 2+ years‘ experience with a proven record of successfully soliciting and selling life insurance products

Successful candidates will possess:

  • Track record of success with meeting and/or exceeding sales goals

  • Strong sales skills with a history of effectively developing, tracking, following up on and closing leads

  • Advanced consultative selling techniques utilizing thorough product knowledge

  • Strong phone sales and prospecting skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with strong customer focus

  • Ability to provide a high level of member-focused service

  • Work independently with minimal supervision

  • Knowledge of Life & Annuity products and services

Work Environment

  • Frequent (up to 80% of work time) travel required with exposure to road hazards and temperature extremes.
  • May visit clients at their residence, place of work, at the branch office or at other business locations. May work outside at an ACG sponsored event - with exposure to various weather conditions.
