This position necessitates extensive travel to multiple locations such as Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Virginia, adhering to a structured 10/4 schedule rotation.
Bi-Con Services implements stringent drug and alcohol testing for employees in safety-sensitive roles in compliance with federal DOT regulations. Testing protocols encompass pre-employment, random screenings, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident evaluations. DOT regulations classify marijuana, regardless of medical authorization, as a prohibited substance.

Job Responsibilities:
- Track material delivery status and update BOM accordingly
- Verify materials on-site align with BOM specification
- Promptly address issues pertaining to material delivery to ensure timely availability
- Manage project punchlist through consistent walkthroughs with customers/inspectors
- Communicate project contract details to personnel with varying levels of expertise
- Maintain organized field documentation database including redlines, weld maps, RFI generation, and closeout documentation
- Manage material test reports, hydro test documentation, and change orders effectively

Additional Duties:
- Coordinate layout and site surveying tasks
- Complete time entries and field purchase orders
- Compile daily work reports and update schedules efficiently

Desired Qualifications:
- Proficient communication skills in verbal, written, and interpersonal interactions
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to balance field office responsibilities with on-site work
- 2+ years of construction experience, particularly in welding fabrication
- Technical degree (2 or 4 years) in engineering, project management, or construction management preferred
- Proficiency in interpreting civil, mechanical, and electrical drawings
- Experience in managing meticulous hard copy and electronic file databases
