The Clerk of Superior Court is looking to fill two Account Clerk III positions:
Account Clerk III
Account Clerk III - Child and Spousal Support Clerk
Under minimal supervision, performs diversified tasks in support of the operation and financial functions specific to the assigned department.
Major Duties, Responsibilities
Account Clerk III:
Account Clerk III - Child and Spousal Support Clerk:
Review support orders and perform the various processes in the statewide case registry. Perform recalculations and/or audits for support arrearages as ordered or needed. Prepare and distribute necessary documents to the recipient, payor and/or employer. Review Applications/Supplemental Applications for Deferral/Waiver for accuracy and process as appropriate. Monitor deferrals, generate proper documents and proceed to the collections process. Refer delinquent cases to FARE and enter into TIP. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in general bookkeeping, administrative work, and/or accounting.
Additional Requirements:
Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license without restrictions.

Perform and verify mathematical computations using computerized budget/financial tracking and reporting programs and review or check the work of others to ensure conformance to standards. Establish and maintain computerized filing systems. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with associates, employees of other departments, representatives of other organizations, County officials, and the public. Keep management informed of key operating issues affecting the department. Remain current in knowledge required to perform assigned duties. Handle confidential matters and maintain discretion always. Act with courtesy, tact, and diplomacy. Work Environment:
The work environment is associated with an office. The work area is adequately lighted, heated or cooled and ventilated.
