The Manufacturing Engineer will support the manufacturing development of classified component manufacturing techniques for Coatings, Non-Conventional Machining, Composites, and Light Assembly work for Next Generation engine programs. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise and be involved in long-term planning.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the development of manufacturing processes for classified hardware.
- Lead and provide technical direction to projects with critical business impact.
- Design and develop tooling concepts.
- Provide technical guidance, direction, and mentorship to new engineers in function.
- Drive rigor for documentation of projects and lessons learned.
- Make recommendations after analysis of the data using quality tools.
- Protect the Intellectual Property rights of the Company.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials Science, Chemical or related program
- OR a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials Science, Chemical, etc.
- Must be a US Citizen without Dual Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
Desired Characteristics
- Experience operating within Quality Systems (Ex: AS9100, NADCAP).
- Skilled in the use of CAD modeling software (Unigraphics preferred).
- Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn.
- Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively.
- Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed.
- Able to work on shop floor and interface between floor operators and engineering
- Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
