Remote, Oregon, United States WEKA Full time

About the job

WEKA is leading a paradigm shift in how data is stored, managed, and processed in the cloud and AI era. We are a pre-IPO, growth-stage company on a hyper-growth trajectory that has raised over $275M in capital and is backed by dozens of world-class venture capital and strategic investors.
Our flagship product, the WEKA Data Platform, is a software-based, hybrid cloud solution transforming stagnant legacy data siloes into dynamic data pipelines that power GPUs efficiently and fuel performance-intensive workloads like generative AI and machine learning seamlessly and sustainably.
We're passionate about helping our customers overcome complex data management challenges to accelerate their innovation and help grow their businesses. If you share our passion, we invite you to join us on this exciting journey.
What's Cool About This Job
WEKA is a high growth company, and sales incentive plans are a critical tool for executing WEKA's go-to-market strategy, expanding our customer base, and motivating & rewarding our rapidly expanding sales teams. As a Sales Compensation Analyst, you will own the execution and continuous improvement of all existing sales incentive plans within our compensation administration platform (Xactly) for teams globally.

Through your work, you will become a resident expert on our sales incentive plans across multiple countries and teams, combining this expertise with savvy data management and systems knowledge to ensure that we're able to enact sales strategy across the organization and that all sellers are compensated accurately and timely for their contributions.

With a keen eye for process improvement, and a bias towards action, you'll play a key role in optimizing our current workflows to increase efficiency within the administration process. Lastly, you'll partner with the Finance, Sales, GTM Operations, Human Resources and other cross-functional stakeholders to assist with the annual incentive compensation plan design and ensure our Xactly system is able to support the plan.
Responsibilities Include

  • Own the administration and continuous improvement of sales incentive plans across the globe.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely performance-to-payout calculations.
  • Directly support local sales teams via research and resolution of commission-related inquiries (e.g. system access issues, transaction disputes, credits, and payment calculations)
  • Compile quarterly commission reporting for leadership review and plan effectiveness assessment.
  • Ownership of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new plans, plan changes and plan enhancements.
  • Collaborate with GTM Ops, HR Ops and Finance teams to process new hires, terminations, and transfers in line with plan policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate system hierarchies, applicable plan components and eligibility of payments.

Desired Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant professional work experience in sales compensation, sales operations, finance, analytics etc. (preferably in a fast-paced, tech company environment)
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. (e.g. Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Engineering etc.)
  • SaaS background with solid understanding of relevant metrics.
  • Well versed in and Comp Admin platforms. (Xactly experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong Google Sheets / MS Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, complex formulas)
  • Fierce attention to detail; ensuring numbers are accurate & delivered on time to key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical abilities, investigating & manipulating data appropriately to make decisions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively document processes and present information.

Concerned you don't meet every qualification? Don't let it stop you from applying
WEKA is committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace. If you are excited about this position but don't meet every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway – you may just be the right candidate for this or other positions at WEKA.
