About the Role

Are you passionate about marketing? We're looking for an experienced social media and influencer marketing leader to help establish a strong global social media presence.

At SandboxAQ we deliver enterprise B2B solutions at the nexus of AI and Quantum technology (AQ). Based in Silicon Valley, our company spun out from Alphabet inc. as an independent, growth-capital backed company in 2022.

As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies and tactics that drive engagement with Fortune 500 companies, Government organizations, and the general public interested in AI and quantum tech. Your primary goal will be to increase global awareness and consideration of SandboxAQ by letting the world know about our cutting-edge solutions. In this role, you will also generate engaging social media content to support different stages of the customer journey, from brand awareness to product consideration.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Craft and execute comprehensive social media strategies that elevate SandboxAQ's position in the market, targeting global enterprises, government organizations, and the general public interested in AI and quantum technology.
  • Create and curate high-quality, differentiated content that highlights SandboxAQ's unique offerings, positioning the company as a leader in AI and deep tech.
  • Manage and oversee all company social media accounts, and engage with our online community, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner
  • Leverage your skills and experience in executive communications to support our CEO's social media presence, supporting him as a respected voice in the tech world, particularly in AI and deep technologies like quantum tech.
  • Analyze market trends, the competitive landscape, and customer behaviors to refine social media strategies and ensure they resonate with the target audience.
  • Develop engaging social media content to support different stages of the customer journey, from brand awareness to product consideration, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand message.
  • Identify and build relationships with key influencers in our target industries
  • Use advanced social media tools and analytics to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns, report on performance, and make data-driven decisions to continually improve and achieve measurable results

Required skills:

  • Proven success as a Social Media strategist, preferably in the high tech industry
  • 8-10 years of social media management experience, including a proven track record of elevating C-suite executives' social media presence
  • Outstanding creativity and writing skills for crafting engaging organic content
  • Comprehensive knowledge of major social media platforms, including YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and online communities like Reddit, Quora, and specialized forums
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting engagement data and deriving insights
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools
  • Strong ability in community management and organic promotion
  • Adaptability to quickly respond to social media trends and audience behavior

The US base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be $150k - $210k per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This role may be eligible for annual discretionary bonuses and equity.
