Position Specific Description

Position Summary: The PV Solar Field Technician Leader is responsible for leading a team of PV Solar Field Technicians in the operation and maintenance of photovoltaic (PV) solar systems and battery energy storage systems (BESS). This role will be based at Green River Solar in Frankfort, KY. The PV Leader will oversee team performance, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and drive efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of PV Solar Field Technicians, providing guidance and support.Coordinate and assign tasks to team members, optimizing resource allocation.Operate, and maintain PV solar systems according to safety protocols and industry standards.Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure optimal system performance.Collaborate with stakeholders to develop installation plans, schedules, and budgets.Implement system enhancements and upgrades to improve efficiency.Promote a positive team environment and foster teamwork and cooperation.Maintain accurate records and generate reports on system activities and performance.
Job Overview

The Site Technician will support the Regional Manager or designee to ensure the perfect execution of the PGD processes. Site Technicians in a solar region perform duties in the following but are not limited to safety, contractor management, electrical/electronic/mechanical equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, overall site operations, asset management and regulatory compliance, reliability engineering, and inventory management.
