Role Overview: The Lead Data Analytics Developer is a hands-on leader, pivotal in crafting and executing our data strategy to align with the company's strategic goals, thereby empowering all departments towards more data-informed decision-making and driving significant business outcomes. This role supports Sales, Marketing, Project Management, Engineering, Operations, Service, Finance, and Leadership teams to enhance efficiency and uncover actionable insights for improved processes.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Data Strategy Leadership: Craft and implement a comprehensive data strategy, setting a roadmap for data processing, analysis, and developing insights across the organization.
  • Project Management: Lead data projects with a focus on organizing work, collecting requirements, architecting, designing, developing effective methods, and maintaining clear and regular communication with management.
  • Analytics & Modeling: Oversee analytics functions, including financial and operational modeling. Develop frameworks for operational initiative prioritization and implement KPIs for organization-wide measurement.
  • Process Automation & Efficiency: Automate manual processes to improve operational efficiency and accuracy across all departments through development of tools and interfaces for employees.
  • Data Lake & AI Innovation: Enhance our data lake and implement AI technology to uncover hidden insights, enhancing data value and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collect Voice of Customer (VoC) data, collaborating with stakeholders to drive solutions which align with business objectives.
  • User Interface (UI): Enhances the usability and appeal of analytics tools and applications, ensuring intuitive and efficient error-free interactions for users.
  • User Experience (UX): Optimizes user satisfaction and engagement with systems and applications, making complex tasks accessible and enjoyable to foster quick adoption.
  • Continuous Improvement & Data-Driven Culture: Promote a data-centric culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making. Facilitate training for technology rollouts and change management.
  • Direct Reports: This position is responsible for supervising one or more Data Analysts.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in Data and Analytics, preferably in a manufacturing or complex assembly environment in a project-based organization.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools, such as Power BI, and experience with SQL, data visualization, and predictive modeling.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Proficient in a suite of data tools including Excel (including using tables and dynamic array formulas), Power Query, Power BI, DAX, Power Apps, Power Automate, SQL, MS Project Professional, and ERP systems, with desirable experience in Salesforce, including CPQ and Field Service implementations.
  • Demonstrated ability to architect, develop, and implement small systems, including the design of robust databases, development of user-friendly front ends, and effective middleware integration, enhancing organizational efficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience in data management and analytics.
  • Expertise in developing, managing, and structuring data within relational and star schema databases, as well as data lakes, ensuring optimal data organization and accessibility for analytical purposes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all organizational levels.
  • High degree of professionalism, attention to detail, and organizational skills. A self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision.

  • Enhance financial reporting and forecasting accuracy through BI automation, directly contributing to more informed strategic decision-making and financial stability.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $90, ,000. The salary range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Adaptec Solutions considers factors including, but not limited to experience and geographic location.
