Position Overview: The Director of Nursing (DON) will oversee the nursing department's daily operations within our senior living community. This leadership role is crucial in maintaining the quality of care and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. The DON will be responsible for developing and implementing nursing policies, managing staff, and fostering a culture of excellence in resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing team, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursing staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet resident needs.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that comply with state and federal regulations.

- Staff Development and Education:

- Collaboration and Communication:

Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
