Controller

North Dallas - Hybrid 2 to 3 days in office

Exciting opportunity available for a Controller position with a PE-backed company based in Dallas, situated in a rapidly growing market segment. Qualified candidates will have CPA, extensive experience with PE-Back companies, and process improvement background (automations, streamlining, creating efficiencies, etc.).

Compensation: $170-200K + Bonus DOE

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the month/quarter/year-end close processes with precision and efficiency.
  • Develop and enforce robust internal controls to safeguard company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows.
  • Provide dynamic leadership to the accounting team, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
  • Implement and maintain consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all organizational programs.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of all financial statements and reports.
  • Develop and monitor key business performance metrics to drive informed decision-making.
  • Play a pivotal role in M&A activities, including purchase accounting and integration of acquisitions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • Prior experience in public accounting is highly preferred.
  • Experience in a private equity-backed environment is advantageous.
