Growth Strategist (Team Lead)

Fetch & Funnel is looking for a Digital Advertising Growth Strategist to lead a team of highly talented digital marketers, and drive digital strategy across key client accounts in the eCommerce space.

What you'll do

You'll act as a fractional Chief Marketing Officer for key client accounts and manage strategy, client relationships, and work with the team to accomplish client targets and goals.

You'll act as the guide for your team, as well as for your clients. A guide is calm, collected, and razor-focused on identifying a path that leads everyone to the desired destination. You are also the temperature leader for your team and your clients. At all times willing to step in and take the lead, while also creating an environment that allows your teammates to shine.

You'll be the guiding hand in crafting a vision for how all media channels and marketing initiatives drive business performance, and you'll lead your team through execution to ensure this vision comes to life in our work.

You must be a marketer at heart, while also having deep expertise in data, performance tracking, and attribution. Having an appetite for new technology and emerging media, you strive to understand the inner workings of a business, as well as that of your team members in order to orchestrate a strategic mix of solutions across social media, search, shopping, programmatic, data strategies, and more as the digital landscape evolves.

What Success Looks Like

  • Build strong, meaningful client relationships
  • Deliver superior client performance, that leads to clear business growth
  • Forecast and hit growth opportunities for your team, across key accounts
  • Assist clients in setting advertising budgets and providing cost estimates for proposed campaigns.
  • Oversee the execution of advertising campaigns, ensuring they align with the agreed-upon strategy and timeline.
  • Keep clients informed about campaign progress, provide regular updates, and address client inquiries and feedback.
  • Monitor campaign performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for optimization.
  • Collect client feedback on creative materials and communicate it to the creative team.
  • Provide clients with regular reports on campaign performance and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize agency revenue.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.
  • Maintain internal team revenue targets, meeting client and project deadlines
  • Facilitate and improve collaboration across internal teams

Requirements

  • A performance marketing rockstar with 5+ years of proven experience in digital, performance marketing, direct response advertising. (experience in D2C is a plus)
  • Strong background in direct-response marketing and sales funnels.
  • You can immediately spot the difference between effective and ineffective marketing, and how to position a product or service to resonate with an audience.
  • Have owned full acquisition, demand, or lead generation funnel and reported back on performance.
  • Strong experience with top of funnel and bottom of funnel (required to have experience in both).
  • Experience in owning 3rd party relationships and presenting results to business partners at all levels.
  • Able to lead marketing campaigns end-to-end, own successes and learnings, and report back on strategic growth metrics.
  • Tech and data-savvy with the ability to jump into web analytics platforms to communicate a story with sound data.
  • Have excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Have proven experience and a solid track record in managing Meta Ads and Google Ads (must have managed big budgets).
  • Strong Project Management background is a major plus.
  • You're a great storyteller
