Position Summary
The Secretary for Dreeban School of Education (DSE) provides assistance to the Dean, and directors in support of faculty, programs, and students. The Secretary reports directly to the Dean, DSE.

Essential Functions

  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures;

    Required Education
    High school diploma or its equivalent.

    Required Work Experience
    Two (2) years of office support experience in a complex office environment. Note that additional education will be considered in lieu of experience.

    Preferred Qualifications
    Some college.

    Work Hours
    Monday through Friday 20 hours per week within 8am to 5pm schedule with occasional extended hours as needed to meet departmental goals.

    Physical Demands
    • Ability to lift up to 10lbs of office materials.
    • Ability to reach overhead, bend, squat to retrieve office materials.
    • Ability to push/pull equipment carts holding up to 35 lbs.
    • Ability to regularly move about campus to deliver mail and assigned packages/supplies.
