Position: Trauma Acute Care SurgeonLocation: Multiple Chicago Northern Suburbs Full TimeHours: Flexible Work ScheduleA Brief Overview:

You will join a team of 28 partners in the multispecialty General Surgery Division, specifically with 9 surgeons dedicated to acute care/trauma services. The division is also comprised of fellowship trained surgeons in colorectal, minimally invasive, bariatric, and hepatobiliary subspecialties.

Responsibilities include:

Level 1 Trauma Center at Evanston Hospital [in house]Level II Trauma coverage at Highland Park Hospital and Glenbrook Hospital [home]ICU coverage for our surgical patients at Evanston Hospital and Skokie Hospital [AM]Emergency general surgery at Evanston Hospital, Highland Park Hospital and Glenbrook Hospital [home]Works with University of Chicago Residents at Evanston and 24 hour Physician Assistant coverage at all hospitals.Teaching opportunities and an academic appointment are available for interested and qualified candidates.Research opportunities are available for interested and qualified candidates.
