This position is responsible for product development and marketability of the Individual(k) administrative service offering. This position is responsible for coordinating all communications regarding the product to affected internal departments, to financial organization partners and the sponsoring employers. This position is also responsible for working with management to ensure future growth of the product, both in terms of profitability and the dynamic of services offered directly to the sponsoring employers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Coordinate the development and delivery of all client communication pieces regarding the Individual(k) product.

  • Act as a liaison between all areas supporting the Individual(k) product throughout the BISYS Retirement Services Unit (PSG - Relationship Management, Client Services, Operations, ERISA and RPS.)
  • Act as the primary relationship coordinator for all Individual(k) alliances where Individual(k) is the sole PSG product offering.
  • Act as product support for Relationship Managers where Individual(k) is offered in combination will full service recordkeeping.
  • Periodically review and report to management profitability of the Individual(k) Product.
  • Lead initiatives for product development and enhancement, including but not limited to, service package, pricing structures and customization.
  • Develop and submit timely summary reports to management.
  • Develop and conduct product training.
  • Act as back-up and support to Individual(k) management as necessary, specifically with year-end setup and valuations.
  • Ensure that our commitments to our clients are met by proactively reviewing the status' of the plan(s) in terms of their processing (financial activity received, statements, RMDs, 5500 reporting, etc.)
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 4 years experience in Retirement Services.
  • Excellent Client Service skills required.
  • Solid knowledge of IRS regulations governing 401(k) plans and plan documents (prototype).
  • Proficiency in MS Office software applications, specifically Word, Excel and Access.
  • Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and shifting priorities as relates to business needs of client and/or organization.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Sound business judgment in determining what issues needs to be elevated to appropriate level of authority.
  • Presentation Skills Preferred
