If you are an Assembler professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you Based in our Stafford, TX location, you will utilize various hand and power tools to perform routine and assembly of basic components in accordance with quality and quantity standards.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Follow procedures for assembling products, handling products, equipment and materials per the production department and company's quality system procedures.
  • Review shop operations packets, Bills-of-Materials, and engineering drawings to ensure that incoming materials to be assembled are accurate as to specified quantity/quality/part number.
  • Based on production specifications and/or Team Leader's instructions, select parts, tools, and equipment required for quality mechanical assembly production.
  • Use accurately calibrated precision measuring instruments when performing inspections and inform the Team Leader of any operating, material, or parts condition that would interfere with production quality or quantity.
  • Perform routine operator maintenance and operational checks on all tools and equipment used.
  • Segregate and periodically dispose of scrap and recycled material into approved collection containers.
  • Operate appropriate equipment required to move materials into, around, or out of the department.
  • Maintain an accurate record of all work performed in the appropriate company format.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • High School/GED
  • 2-5 years previous experience in valve assembly
