Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Design Quality Manager to join our team In this role you will get to develop and implement Design Quality Management Plans and Procedures.
What You'll Be Doing:
Engage during the proposal phase, to describe design quality processes and procedures in response to RFP requirementsEstablish, implement, and maintain a Design Quality Assurance System (DQAS) commensurate with the Project requirements and complexity of the ProjectProvide training of design personnel to ensure awareness of quality procedures and specific responsibilities in the QC processProvide direction to the design team and subconsultants on the DQAS when questions arise or during the review of QC documentationRepresent the Design Team on design quality issues at meetings with the Client, third parties and construction staffPerform Auditing/Surveillance of planning and design functions at scheduled intervals to assess conformance with the Contract requirements, as applicableConduct surveillance of design submittals to confirm the documents are in substantial compliance with the DQASDetermine whether a Corrective Action is necessary to bring awareness of design quality issues to the project manager and Design TeamWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or Quality disciplineTwelve (12) years of design, project management, and design quality experience with 5 years of Design Quality experienceExperience developing Design Quality Management Plans and Procedures to Parsons', client and ISO 9001 requirements and standardsWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Registered Professional Engineer or Architect in New York, or ability to obtain within six months of hire dateStrong leadership and management skillsAbility to communicate design quality principles clearlyComputer proficiency in Microsoft products, SharePoint and ProjectWiseAbility to direct and manage team members with day to day activities as well as special projects to assure timely completionMinimum Clearance Required to Start:

$117,000.
