The Network Engineer is an established performer that works to facilitate and support computer-based business solutions and projects. This role will participate in the design and implementation of new systems and modification of existing applications.

Resolve problems requiring information from multiple sources or advanced knowledge in a thorough and timely manner.

· Support the day-to-day administration of the Network Environment.

· Conduct independent research to learn current trends in Network utilization and software deployment to generate improvement suggestions, and present findings to supervisors.

· Develop training material/documentation to support day to day end user tasks.

· Make peer-reviewed changes to produce a solution to a problem.

· Perform high quality analysis consistently.

· Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate technical, system, and process improvements.

· Perform other duties as needed.

Required Experience and Education:

Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

· 2-4 years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) or equivalent

· Specialties: Voice over IP (VoIP), CUCM-Cisco Unified Communication Manager, CCME-Cisco Call Manager Express.

· Understanding of cisco routers, switches, voice, and wireless technologies.

· Understanding of Structured Cabling, LAN/WAN, VLANS, STP or VoIP, TACACS, LDAP, DNS, SNMP, QOS, etc.

· Understanding of Voice over IP (CUCM, CCME-SRST, SCCP, SIP, H323, MGCP, FXO/FXS).

· Strong understanding and working knowledge of OSI Layers.

· Strong understanding and working knowledge of IP address and Subnetting.

Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline.

· Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.

· Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

· High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.

· Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.

· Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.

· High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.

Occasional travel may be required.
