About the Role

Accountable for strategy development and execution for the managed customer segment. Plans and directs sales activities including managing the region's or location's sales and marketing representatives to achieve revenue and yield goals. Coordinates customer quotations, assigns account responsibilities and establishes and maintains communications between sales and marketing and other staff. Establishes and maintains positive relationships with customers, manufacturers' representatives and suppliers. Brings together and deploys the individuals, processes and resources to meet customer needs. Drives focus on individual customer profitability. They are also responsible for achieving Revenue and Profit targets across different brands within that customer segment by leveraging TD SYNNEX's competitive market advantage. In addition this role manages the forecast roll up of the Advanced Solutions business. This role will work with other sales directors and managers to ensure accurate forecast reporting, week over week variance and validates all reports are completed in the system on a timely basis. This position is critical to the business and handles year over year analytics on financial compares, trends and provides Sr. VPs insight on the quarterly forecast.

What You'll Do
  • Plans, organizes, manages and directs sales activities for the assigned inside sales markets and teams to achieve or exceed the planned goals for volume and margins. (10%)
  • Provide leadership for existing and new accounts, including quotations, profit margin goals, and operating expense budget for assigned area of responsibility. (20%)
  • Works in concert with marketing and field teams to manage account relationships, leveraging leadership and strategies with current customers and new prospects that enable consistent, profitable growth in sales revenue. (15%)
  • Monitors customer-facing metrics and internal metrics for assigned area, performs analysis and identifies improvement opportunities. Meets with customers to resolve problems, promote mutual success, determine satisfaction level and gain understanding of their market needs. (10%)
  • Develops and executes both short- and long-range sales plans and programs in conjunction with Senior Management, to ensure profitability and growth of the company's products. Develops a more cost effective model to support small volume customers and/or low margin products. (15%)
  • Host weekly call for validation of Inside Team forecast, host weekly call with TD SYNNEX Finance to discuss overall Enterprise Forecast for all advanced solution vendor lines. (Inside, Supplier and Region). Serve as focal for any Inside Sales issues/concerns that span across TD Enterprise Team and for all Advanced Solution lines. Coordinating Inside Sales forecast from other Directors and Managers from across Enterprise Team and all Advanced Solution vendor lines

  • Analyze forecast data provide trends, research anomalies and provide recommendations, risk to Sr. VP of Sales, Sr. VP Vendor Solutions and finance supporting the Advanced Solution lines. (15%)
What We're Looking For:
  • 10 to 15 Years of relevant work experience.
  • 3 to 5 Years of experience directly managing / supervising employees.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with Business/Marketing/Related Industry Field of Study preferred.
  • Other (Please specify in "Other" Section) with Business/Marketing/ OR Related Industry field of study required.
