Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Management:Oversee and manage the entire payroll process using ADP for approximately 50 employees.Ensure accurate and timely filing of payroll across multiple states and cities, complying with all state and local regulations.Maintain payroll records and handle any payroll-related inquiries or discrepancies.Benefits Administration:Manage and administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-provided benefits.Act as the point person for negotiating insurance policies and other benefit-related contracts.Coordinate with HR to ensure smooth onboarding and enrollment processes for new hires.Compliance and Reporting:Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.Prepare and file necessary payroll tax returns and reports.Assist with internal and external audits related to payroll and benefits.Process Improvement:Continuously review and improve payroll processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.5-7 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in the construction industry.Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll processing and payroll tax regulations.Proficiency in using ADP for payroll management.Experience with benefits administration and contract negotiation.Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with integrity.
