The Role:

ModernaTX, Inc. seeks a Principal Software Development Engineer for its Norwood, Massachusetts location.

Here's What You'll Do:
Lead Agile software development for custom software solutions enabling the high-throughput synthesis of mRNA through integrated workflows and robotics automation.

Serve as technical lead, day-to-day scrum leader, team mentor, individual contributor, and the point person for interacting with business stakeholders.

Develop full stack JavaScript / TypeScript web applications.

Deploy cloud based applications to Amazon Web Services (AWS) using Docker.

Build innovative and intuitive applications to transform business processes.

Integrate applications with instruments to drive automation and collect data.

Deliver solutions to users in an extremely rapid, agile cycle.

Lead and contribute to multiple different projects in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

Collaborate with and provide guidance to other members of the team.

Supervise 3+ Software Development Engineers.

May telecommute up to 2 days per week.

Here's What You'll Bring to the Table:
Requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience in the position offered or as a Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, or related position.

Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in fields specified and 7 years of progressive post baccalaureate experience in the stated positions.

Must have 2 years of experience with: Full-stack web development for biopharma domain; Angular and Typescript; Node JS/Python; Amazon Web Services; Serving as Scrum Master; and PostgreSQL.
