Sacramento Country Day School, the regional leader in Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade independent school education since 1964, seeks a full-time science teacher in our Middle School (grades 6-8) for the school year. The salary range for this position is between $52,000 and $95,000 depending on education and experience.
This full-time position will include teaching three sections of Middle School Science in Grades 6, a physical science curriculum focusing on chemistry and physics. Country Day's middle school science curriculum aligns with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS.)
Candidates will also be prepared to integrate themselves into the life of the school, including, but not limited to, teaching two elective courses, serving as an advisor, and chaperoning field trips, including an outdoor education trip.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; graduate degrees preferred.
