What You Will Do:

  • Establish close relationships Agile teams and Business Subject matter experts to drive out data needs and usage requirements.
  • Collaborate with Modeling team, Reporting team, Development team and Architecture to drive out long term solutions.
  • Require that the "Why" is documented in additions to the "What" to ensure the proper structures are created and understood.
  • Identify issues and risks and proactively communicate them to the team & stakeholders.
  • Build out the model - following and improving the agile modeling process.
  • Utilize DevOps process for: releasing of model changes, Tracking model history.

Position Location: St. Paul, MN (Hybrid role)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 2years experience; or no degree and 6 years combined education and equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in SQL and understanding of relational database concepts.
  • A history of analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and proactive attitude, with a passion for driving innovation and excellence in data management.
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in data modeling and database design.
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and data security best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable data models.
  • Experience in Snowflake cloud data platform.
