Position Description:


Our Field Service Technicians experience a unique opportunity to employ their technical experience by collaborating with healthcare professionals and leading technical initiatives in medical device technology.

You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and updating medical devices in a laboratory setting. This is a great opportunity for you to advance your technical and leadership skills

We are hiring immediately with an expected start date of ASAP.

You will have the opportunity to gain experience into new roles while traveling to different locations weekly and learning the medical device industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Organizing, testing, and updating medical devices, installing, and configuring hardware, software, and network products.
  • Setup and organization of equipment and workstations.
  • Conduct routine checks and records data from product tests after installation and configuration.
  • Perdiem position requiring travel and flexibility to travel to various locations within the United States weekly.
  • Ability to work remotely or on site
  • Must be able to travel regionally and/or nationally
  • Appropriate PPE is provided to all employees prior to the start of assignments

Job Requirements:

  • 13 years' experience Biomedical Field Service is required
  • Effective communication and documentation skills strongly preferred
  • An active and unrestricted driver license is required for this position
  • Prior experience in a BSL (biohazard) level 3 or higher preferred
  • Background in electronics or Electronics and Engineering Technology (EET)
  • Ability to work independently in team environment
  • Ability to work effectively in overly sensitive environment
  • Ability to obtain passport should international travel be required
  • Must be comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating system
  • Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment and devices
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time and lift to 50 pounds
Experience in healthcare, field service, engineering, biomedical, electronics, electrical, or technical work is beneficial for this position.

Duties may require compliance with client requirements that all those performing services on-site be fully vaccinated.
