Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) degree to participate in paid intern opportunities. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company.

Your role:

  • Setup and maintain small ( 50 networked hosts) to large-scale VM-based ( 300 hosts) patient monitoring systems.
  • Plan, Design, Execute system integration and test procedures. Solve any emerging issues with Third-Party software running on our systems.
  • Collect test result data (SQL queries and others) from disparate sources and Process into a common dashboard (using Power BI)
  • Maintain an understanding of their products and requirements. Monitor developing changes in the tools' industries.
  • Interface with external stakeholders such as: Customers, Product Management, Product Support, Software Development, Field Engineering.
  • Present and report results from complex system integration tests and procedures to internal and external stakeholders

You're the right fit if:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, Biomedical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or relevant equivalent technical experience
  • Experience in Software System-Level disciplines- IT Infrastructure, Networking, Embedded Software, Operating Systems, Database (MS SQL), Power BI, etc.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills of complex distributed software systems
  • Holistic 'Systems Thinking' approach/mind-set: Thorough understanding of parts, components, assemblies, interfaces, performance criteria, etc. of a complex system.
  • Experience with Automation and Scripting languages- PowerShell, C# or other Microsoft related languages
  • Experience in Computer Networking technologies- LAN, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, Multicast, TCP, UDP, Routing, Firewalls, etc.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office/Remote position.
