Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Dialysis Equipment Technician for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What You Will Do In Your Role:

You will provide preventive maintenance, installation, calibration, electrical safety test, and repair of Hemodialysis equipment.

You will complete written documentation of all testing and repair results and operate a computerized equipment management program to store these results.

You will assist the Renal Department with education and training of dialysis personnel in water treatment systems.

You will perform monthly water cultures/LAL and report to Director appropriate action plan in a timely manner.

You will perform equipment disinfection as per department policy.

You will maintain data for the department QA and CQI as related to water quality and safety.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

Associates Degree or equivalent experience is preferred with additional Biomedical Equipment/Electronics Technical Training.

A minimum of 3 years' experience is required

Technical Training Class for Fresenius Hemodialysis System is required
