Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Diagnosis and Repair: Diagnose and repair malfunctioning mechanical and electrical equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Equipment Installation and Oversight: Install and setup new equipment, lead project planning efforts, and demonstrate expertise in the operation of hand and power tools.
  • Communication and Recordkeeping: Maintain clear communication with supervisors and production teams regarding equipment status, provide proper record keeping and documentation, and maintain inventory levels.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with vocational training preferred. Five years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience at a Journeyman level in industrial plant maintenance.
  • Skills and Certifications: Familiarity with state licensing requirements in Millwright and Electrical work, Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) card, Journeyman Millwright card, and PLC knowledge.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and work for long periods, climb ladders, and work at high elevations.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS.
