Description:
heavy data entry - working through DocuTrack - very time sensitive and high volume, accuracy is key
pharmacy uploads docs for new patients, this team goes through each patient's sheet - adding patient demographic and insurance information to the system
working through various tools to verify insurance like medicaid / medicare portals or commercial insurance portals
Will support pharmacies all over the country and each form can be different - will have to look at variety of forms to select correct info to put in their system
Someone will go into the system and look for systems, get orders, no facilities will send over the same thing
AS-400
Verify their insurance
Send back to the pharmacy
Makes minimal phone calls, uses systems for verification
Sometimes will need to make calls sometimes to an insurance company, will sometimes call a facility
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST:
- understands how commercial insurance works, what medicare vs. medicaid is
- entry level customer service / data entry as long as they are tech savvy - can use multiple systems, 10key, high accuracy with data entry
- must have 1 year in a professional office setting
Preferred Skills
1 year data entry in healthcare is highly preferred
-medicaid/medicare insurance portal experience - know what a medicaid # is and how to verify insurance coverage
high attention to detail
comfortable working in a fast paced environment
